Slow drains and full clogs handled the right way — mechanical snaking for typical clogs, hydro-jetting for serious blockages, and root cutting for the worst-case scenarios.

What We Do

Drain Cleaning across SWFL.

Drains clog. In SWFL, it's usually grease (kitchen), hair (bath), wipes-that-shouldn't-be-flushed (toilet), or tree roots (main sewer). Sage carries snakes, augers, and hydro-jet equipment so we can match the tool to the problem. We don't just push the clog further down the line — we clear it properly and tell you what caused it so it doesn't come back next month.

Signs You Need This

When to call us.

Single drain slow or fully clogged

Usually a localized clog in the trap or branch line. Snaking clears most of these.

Multiple drains slow at the same time

Indicates a problem downstream — main line clog or sewer issue. Calls for a camera scope.

Gurgling sounds when fixtures drain

Venting issue or partial blockage in the main line. Diagnose before it becomes a full backup.

Water backing up into other fixtures

Sewer main is partially or fully blocked. Treat as urgent.

Persistent kitchen drain clogs

Grease buildup over years. Hydro-jetting clears it; regular snaking just punches through and leaves the rest.

Recurring main line clogs

Almost always tree roots. Camera scope confirms, then we cut + treat or recommend a permanent fix.

How It Works

Our process.

01

Diagnose the location

We figure out where the clog is — single drain, branch line, or main line.

02

Match the tool

Snake for typical clogs, larger auger for main lines, hydro-jet for grease/scale buildup, root cutter for sewer roots.

03

Clear + camera (when needed)

For recurring or main-line issues, we run a camera to see exactly what's going on. No guessing.

04

Treat + report

Drain treatment to prevent quick recurrence. Written report on what we found and what's recommended.

Common Questions

The short answers.

How much does drain cleaning cost?

Single drain clog: $150-$250. Main line clear: $250-$500. Hydro-jetting: $400-$800. Camera scope: $250-$400 (often credited toward repair if work is performed).

What's hydro-jetting?

High-pressure water (3,000+ PSI) blasted through the drain line. Scours the pipe walls — removes grease, scale, and most root intrusion. Best long-term solution for serious clogs.

Can you handle tree roots in my sewer?

Yes — root cutter on a powered cable removes the intrusion. Then we treat with foaming root killer to slow regrowth. For severe cases, we discuss permanent solutions like pipe lining or replacement.

Will drain cleaner from the store work?

For minor clogs sometimes. For serious clogs or recurring problems, no — and over-the-counter drain cleaner can damage older pipes. We don't recommend regular use.

Do you offer drain cleaning as part of maintenance?

SageComfort+ Plumb includes drain treatment as part of the annual inspection. For chronic clog issues, we recommend a separate cleaning schedule.

Can clogs come back?

Depends on the cause. Grease and tree roots will regrow. Hair clogs usually stay gone if the drain is properly cleared. We always tell you what we found and what's likely to recur.
