What We Do

AC Repair across SWFL.

When your AC stops working in SWFL, every hour counts. Sage runs same-day diagnostic visits Monday through Friday and emergency calls 24/7. Our techs arrive in stocked trucks carrying common parts (capacitors, contactors, fan motors, refrigerant), so most repairs happen on the first visit. We diagnose the actual problem, quote you upfront, and only do the work you approve.

Signs You Need This

When to call us.

AC is blowing warm air

Most often a low refrigerant charge, frozen evaporator coil, or compressor issue. Don't keep running it — you can damage the compressor.

Unit won't turn on at all

Could be a tripped breaker, blown capacitor, bad thermostat, or condensate float switch tripped. We diagnose in under 30 minutes.

Loud noises — grinding, screeching, banging

Usually a failing motor, loose part, or compressor problem. Shut it off and call us before it gets worse.

Water around the air handler

Clogged condensate drain line is the #1 culprit in Florida. Easy fix when caught early, expensive when ignored.

Short cycling — turns on/off rapidly

Could be a sensor issue, electrical problem, or improperly sized system. Burns out the compressor if left alone.

Burning or musty smell from vents

Electrical issue or mold growth in the system. Either way, stop running it and call.

Common Questions

The short answers.

How much does an AC repair cost?

Diagnostic visits start at $89 (waived if you proceed with the repair). Typical repairs run $200-$800 depending on the part. Major repairs (compressor, coil) can be more — at which point we'll discuss whether repair or replace makes sense.

Do you charge a diagnostic fee?

Yes, $89 during normal business hours. It's waived completely if you approve the repair. SageComfort+ members never pay it.

Can you come out today?

Almost always — we dispatch same-day during business hours and run 24/7 emergency service for urgent calls (no AC in summer, water leaking, etc.).

What if my system can't be repaired?

We'll tell you straight. If the unit is at end-of-life and a repair doesn't make sense, we'll quote replacement options without pressure to decide that day.

Do you work on all brands?

Yes — Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Rheem, Goodman, York, American Standard, and most others. Even if it's a brand we don't sell, we repair it.

What about warranty work?

If your system is still under manufacturer warranty, we work with the manufacturer to handle covered parts. You pay labor only.
